KR Presents: New Old Abram Brown video for “Mountain Lions”

Remember back in the day when I wrote up a grand ol’ artist profile about Old Abram Brown, some youngster New Hampshirites new to the indie music circuit?

Everything about Old Abram Brown screams passion. Carson Lund’s vocals are earnest and emphatic, as if breaking all barriers of viscosity. Piano holds down the foundation, and the rest of the instruments follow suit with bursts of momentum. I can’t help but think these boys are ready for the big time, so let’s make it happen, shall we?

Well, I’m doing my part. The OAB team reached out to us and several of our blogging buddies to be part of a “Blog Tour,” in which they unveil a new video, filmed live at the Hunt Memorial Library, every Friday. We get to premiere “Mountain Lions,” the song I prominently featured in the artist profile. I particularly love the horns on this one; they give the song its bite.

Anyways, smart marketing if you ask me.

Head to their Bandcamp to pick up their new full length, Restless Ghosts, and check out if they’re coming to you on their summer tour.
