“72 Musicians” showcases musicians’ awesome and sucky lives

Remember that time you got hammered at a concert only to see the band was more drunk than you were?? Me neither, I was too wasted. But the point is, I’m sure it’s happened to all of us, maybe suspecting the artists are playing on crack or ‘shrooms or just plain Vitamin Water, though never knowing for sure. But now you can finally get the inside scoop, as “72 Musicians”, a documentary directed by Bob Moczydlowszky about musicians’ lives, is currently making the film festival rounds and will have a download launch soon. Intriguing? I think so.

(I’ll let that final song slide…) Moczydlowsky’s put up the soundtrack for free download on the film’s website (also featured below because there’s a really cool widget), which includes well-known acts as well as under the radar, practically never heard before artists. Included in the film are interviews with members of Spoon, The Get Up Kids, and sooo many more (as the title implies.) So get off your ass…and then get back on your ass to watch it!
