“Now That’s What I Call Music” the TV show

NOW! Simon Fuller, the evil genius behind all kinds of awful things is now making a show based on the equally awful “Now That’s What I Call Music” compilations. According to BBC, the show will have an “interactive” music chart and promote unsigned artists. What?

If MTV and VH1 have taught us anything in the last few years it’s that “kids these days” don’t watch music on TV anymore. Fact.

However, if the popular music charts have taught us anything in the last few years it’s that the “Now” series sells better than anything ever released ever (see: soccer moms and 12-year-old girls). And why miss an opportunity to cash in? Why, Simon Fuller, why?
