Siren Festival adds Ponytail, Holy Fuck, DOM, Apache Beat to lineup

The tenth annual Siren Music Festival at Coney Island already has a pretty stellar lineup: Matt and Kim, Ted Leo and the Pharmacists, The Pains Of Being Pure At Heart, Harlem, Surfer Blood, Cymbals Eat Guitars, etc. But it just got a little more stellar with the inclusion of Baltimore fun group Ponytail, electronic instrumentalists Holy Fuck, lo-fi pop rock band DOM, and group I know nothing about from New York Apache Beat.

The two-stage, all-day, absolutely-free festival is happening July 17 at Coney Island. We did some pretty extensive coverage of the festival last year which you should check out if you’re still unsure about going. But seriously, free music? Coney Island? Hot dogs? Beer? Beach? Sand? Indie kids? FREE MUSIC. If you don’t go, you just don’t know what good things are, I guess. Full lineup and details at the Siren website.
