The National announce fall tour dates with Owen Pallett

Hey guys, guess what? The National rules. Besides the sure-to-be ridonkulous tour dates they have scheduled this summer with The Antlers (who are a truly phenomenal live act in their own right, seriously), the band just announced a slew of fall dates with Owen Pallett — the artist formerly known as Final Fantasy — as the opening act.

Basically, over the next seven months, The National will be playing with The Antlers, Owen Pallett, Beach House, Okkervil River, The Walkmen and more. Pretty neat. [via Pitchfork]
