In honor of Josh Ritter’s soon-to-be new album, So Runs the World Away, this week’s PVS is shoving some Ritter right up in your face. Ow, your face! Haha, just kidding. This is the good kind of face-shoving.
This performance is of “To the Dogs or Whoever,” from The Historical Conquests of Josh Ritter, on Letterman. The two things that are great about this video: 1) it’s so obvious how much fun everyone in the band is having, and you can definitely tell from the way the performance sounds, and 2) Letterman casually (inadvertently?) insults the band — “I’ve never seen someone help a drummer before!” Thanks, David!
