“MoCap, LLC” coming to Spike TV this week (Thursday night at Midnight!)

So we always promote other people’s stuff here. But this time, I’m self-indulging and promoting something that I myself (yes me!) have been working on here in NYC. “MoCap, LLC” is a half-hour comedy show created and written by my colleague and friend, Chris DeLuca, premiering Thursday, April 23 (this week) at midnight. I know, the time slot sucks but what can you do. As DeLuca says himself, the show is “asinine, tasteless, and very, very funny.”

The show is about a low-budget company that does the motion capture for video games that no one else would do. Which basically means they dress up their motion capture artist, Jeff (Jonathan Gabrus – you may know him from Brohemian Rhapsody and several other things on College Humor) in a blue suit with golf balls to do awful, terrible motion capture for video games. It’s absurd. And funny. Also starring is DeLuca as Frank – the head of the motion capture “creative” side, NYC comedian Kara Klenk as Claire – the business manager, and Lauren Turek as Kendall – “the hot intern” (yeah, she’s the one in front there…) Oh and if you do that twitter thing, you should definitely follow them. It’s not the typical twitter stuff you get – it gives you some insight into the minds of each character. Totally awesome.
