Notable Album Release: Catherine Feeny - People in the Hole

Sultry singer/songwriter Catherine Feeny, kicked to the curb by her London based record-label (Charisma/EMI) in ’08, has carefully plotted her return to action with her forthcoming album People in the Hole. She recorded the album in England but decided to wait on its release when she moved to the States and set a foundation for herself in Portland OR.

You may know her from The O.C.: her dainty tune “Mr. Blue”, from her previous work, was featured on the show. However, Feeny lets her dark side loose on People in the Hole and her soul is left out bare, waiting for us to scratch and scrape at it only to realize it’s stronger than we could have ever imagined.

It’s also perfect for the summer – long nights by the campfire, making s’mores with the fam… while some other group nearby thinks it’s totally appropriate to sing kumbaya at the top of their lungs. Don’t worry though, Feeny will drown them out.
