Brick+Mortar

Finally some upbeat indie rock I can get behind. The music scene has been diluted lately with an overabundance of experimental electronic sounds, and one of the reasons is because of the lack of quality indie rock with those familiar jangly guitars and frenetic vocals (stay tuned for a forthcoming Hype Hype Hooray, written by yours truly as a contributor to Jamie’s column. I have a lot to harp on related to the aforementioned matter. Just you wait for my scathing criticism of the current indie music world! Ha. It’s just too easy, sorry.).

Brick+Mortar are a hyperactive bunch from New Jersey with hard hitting choruses and tenacious melodies. I need something like them right now in my life; I’m sure you know the feeling.
