We’ve had many favorites come through Knox Road over the years, taking enormous pride (even if it’s not ours to take) in seeing great results. So when Akudama, a highly-championed KR band, went on hiatus last year, it stuck a fork in our hearts. The band had other projects (most notably Penguin Prison and Snowmine), but even during their break, their commitment to the future of Akudama never waned. The guys just knew they needed some time away. And now that time has thankfully passed.
Say goodbye to the hiatus and hello to the wonderful new Akudama EP, set for official release on May 8. The pause was a good one – this record is the group’s best work yet.
