Races

You know what I like about CMJ? It lets me talk about bands I’ve missed and should have written about in the past. One of those bands is LA’s Races, whom I saw the final night of CMJ before Hands (who rocked, by the way). Races had charisma and chemistry on stage, and their psychedelic, indie pop/folk harmonies were candy to my ears. They’re a bigger group, which makes their enormous energy contagious. If you get a chance to see them near you, don’t think twice. They’re on the rise.

Races – “Big Broom” [MP3]

Races – “Living Cruel and Rude” [MP3]
