Lots of Sarah McIntosh this week (check out her Sufjan cover here, or just scroll down the page). Remember how “Prisoner” was the free b-side to the “Be My Animal” single? Well, Be My Animal was released via KIDS November 1, as expected, and now it’s available for free download.
One thing I particularly enjoy about McIntosh’s music is how it oozes passion – you can hear how much of herself she puts into the sound. Her world becomes the song’s world, and we are the beneficiaries. It’s pop meant for the main stage, but it’s dark enough to have an edge.
