a former Belle & Sebastian member and a former Screaming Trees member!?? This should be a great show!!

  • Jesse

Fun fact about Lanegan: he’s never been seen in the same room as the devil!

  • You know, Mark has never sounded better than on the new album. Here’s hoping that we get more! (And maybe some new solo stuff in the coming days…)

  • Joe

Two intense singers that work perfect together… ‘Hang On’ is one of the most underrated songs. I would love to hear a screaming trees song at that show.

I saw Mark at the Bowery Ballroom with the Soulsavers a while back. That was a great show, as I’m sure this will be!

I need a night of auditory stimulation. Especially via these two. Sure to to be inspirational….

My favorite duo at my favorite venue… So sick!!

All I have to do is post to be entered to win the tickets!?

Why don’t you guys do this when Nickelback comes to town!?!?

  • Andrealein

Yes. Yes, yes, yes. You know, when Campbell and Lanegan got together, I thought I made it up in my unconscious, because that’s precisely what my unconscious would do if it wasn’t busy dreaming up a Greg Dulli/Joan Wasser collaboration or whatever. So, yes.

Just saw them at Johnny Brendas in Phila. Love to see them in NYC. That’s a bit selfish, I admit…..so, yes, please choose someone else. But did you know Willy Mason, their start, is a direct descendant of the philosopher William James, novelist Henry James, and diarist Alice James?

  • i love the trivia! if only this many people commented when things weren’t being given away.

    sigh.
