[MP3] Tallest Trees: “Alouette!”

So many influences and instruments at play I don’t even know where to start. “Alouette!”‘s got this tribal twee thing going on, with backing choral harmonies and an array of styles somehow strung together. It’s that song you put on at a bonfire during the day, and instead of sitting around eating s’mores or telling ghost stories or singing kumbaya, people are up and dancing with strange moves and tossing their loved ones in the air.
