This week’s PVS video is one I’ve actually known about for a while (because I’m great, basically), and just never got the opportunity to post it here. So it’s a special one!
This is the English post-rock band (don’t run away!) 65daysofstatic performing their ree-diculous song “Radio Protector” from the album One Time for All Time at a festival a few years ago. Now, while “Radio Protector” is very close to the top of my list of favorite 65dos songs, this video is still great, even without my bias. Objectively.
It has such an urgent feel, from the on-stage gyrations to the occasional flubbed piano notes, that it’s hard to get swept up in the majesty of the track. This is the video I watch when I want to go on an all-encompassing 65daysofstatic kick.
