Coyote Clean Up

Detroit’s Coyote Clean Up is in the business of making soothing tripped-out synth tracks and what a great time to be in business. CCU’s songs are a little more house music-influenced than we’ve heard in some similar artists, and the track names are borderline ridiculous (“dumbassthings,” “no xxx 4 me,” “lackadaisical luv xxx f-u,” etc.). In that same vein I should mention that the 2009 LP on which all these songs appear is titled Double Trouble Doo Doo Bubble.

For a better idea at just who Coyote Clean Up is, let me direct you to just some of the “Influences” section on Myspace: “GINGER TEA, SNOW, SUMMER, PLANTS, WOOD, DUB, BASS, FRIENDS, FAMILY, CLOTHES, SLIP AND FALL ACCIDENTS… THE MIDWEST, LAKES, MAGIC, NON-ATHEIST FINNISH PAGANISM, TIME, GNOMES, TIME, FUN, ROLLERSKATING, SKATEBOARDING, THE TROLL UNDER THE BRIDGE, THE FOREST, TIME, FUN, and WILDERNESS BEACHES.”

Sounds about right.
