Hot Chip is so exciting everybody! We all love them with all our hearts, right? I do. “[Like Hot Chip] right or pay the price!!” a surly camp counselor once said. Well there’s more of them to love now that their catalog of music has grown by one song! They’ve released “One Life Stand” off their upcoming album also called One Life Stand out February 9.
The track is pretty ok. I’m not gushing, but I’m not disliking it by any means either. “When we think about [Hot Chip], it makes us wanna [Hot Chip],” ya know?
Very sweet song; not immortal, but worthwhile. “Take It In” is better, but both tracks forecast a great future for these folks.
