Remember when I called the Twilight: New Moon Hot Topic tour “the worst plan of all things ever planned?” Well back then, the thought was these good bands (Death Cab, Grizzly Bear, Bon Iver, etc.) would tour Hot Topic stores in support of the new teen vampire movie they wrote songs for. Almost true! As it turns out, only some of them are playing one Hot Topic store. Tomato/tomato, right?
The show will take place at a store in Hollywood and will feature Death Cab For Cutie, Sea Wolf, Band of Skulls and Anya Marina. It’s also going to have a Q&A session with a bunch of people from the movie. I don’t know anything about Twilight because I’m an adult, but I’m sure there will be energy drink and hair gel all around??
Anya Marina and Hurricane Bells will be individually playing some other stores, along with a few cast members, so even you can experience the hottest show to hit malls since your local A Capella group played there that one time. Tour dates!
