I’ve been watching this video about once every two days for the past two weeks, and I’m absolutely enchanted. It’s rather old (2007, which was, like, before Merriweather Post Pavilion even came out), but it’s gorgeous all the same.

It’s a performance on Later…with Jools Holland by my fiancée, Joanna Newsom, of “Clam, Crab, Cockle, Cowrie.” Basically, if you took the concept of beauty and put it in a blender and diced it and then pureéd what’s left, it would be only the tip of the icing on the cake that is this song. Follow me, dawg? No? Oh. It’s okay, I’ll let myself out.
