We FINALLY get a listen from the Black Lips/King Khan & BBQ Show combo that I’ve been dying for since I learned of their inception. Is it a good listen? Umduh. It’s like if garage rock went gospel but not really. You know? Well, you’ll just have to listen then. It seems a little crowded, but I’m gonna give that a pass since six people isn’t all that much for gospel, and I’m going to start classifying this as gospel (even though it’s not really gospel so much).
The self-titled release is set to come out on September 22 on Vice. Why are these guys the best??
