Grizzly Bear’s video for “Two Weeks” is creepy…The Best Song of 2009, “Two Weeks” by the unstoppable Grizzly Bear, finally got the video treatment and it’s really creepy… 🙁 I’m going to pretend this didn’t happen… Why is there light shooting out of their mouths? What’s with the sparks and fire? WHY DOES THAT ONE GUY BLINK SO STRANGELY?? But the song is just SO beautiful! The video could be of Bigfoot having a bowel movement and it would be transcendent.
If I remember right, the song’s supposed to be about a relationship that both parties know is doomed, but it’s all smiles and happiness on the surface despite the fact that everything’s exploding underneath.
