Portland’s own Nurses gives us this sweet adorable taste of their upcoming debut LP, Apple’s Acre, with the soft childlike “Caterpillar Playground” (sweet, apple, child, caterpillar, playground?? I sense a theme here). It’s a song you can really get into sink your teeth into. Yikes, ok, that one pun is enough. The song is great, there’s that hollow melodious whistle that really brings the whole thing together. It hits me just right. The album comes out August 4 on Dead Oceans and OMG that guy in the band has an AWESOME beard! Portland BREEDS beards.
