In case you were pregaming Mother’s Day or studying for final exams or doing like, 24-hour improv shows, here’s what you missed this week on Knox Road.

Monday:
The Siren Music festival – Jamie’s love – gets into gear.
Bob gets philosophical #2: Go to as many concerts as you can while you’re young, because some day, you won’t be young (impossible. I’ll never grow old.)
Australian “Prog” band, Closure in Moscow, sure to garner comparisons to the Mars Volta.

Tuesday:
Tortoise coming out with first new album in FIVE years!
Continuing with the electro theme, Jon Hopkins releases his Insides.

Wednesday:
Panama Kings unreleased track up for download. For the sake of Bob’s dance moves.
Back To Save The Universe strays from the typical College Park fare, releases second recording.
The Woodlands: Even The Decemberists “dig” their music!

Thursday:
Dirty Projectors and TV On The Radio on tour together. = One of the most awesome billings ever?
Lee finishes up exams, leaves Bob and Jamie in the dust. WHAT. Oh yeah, mix included.

Friday:
“Birthday Sex?’ How pedantic and inane! Let me sip my Vidal Blanc and read The Economist!” Not gonna happen on Jeremih’s watch.

Saturday:
New York’s Beat Radio provides the melancholy and the beat.
