– A free album download from Emperor X (Chad Matheny) along with one of Lee’s favorite songs

Wednesday
– New Black Lips video is like The Wonder Years
– First Aid Kit returns to (never left?) the woods for latest video, “Our Own Pretty Ways”
– Los Campesinos! in the studio again for new album
– Les Savy Fav cover Superchunk’s “Precision Auto” for Merge comp
– Where The Wild Things Are trailer comes out (with “Wake Up” from the Arcade Fire) to the delight of everyone (who has a heart) in the entire world
– Dinosaur Jr.’s new album cover looks a lot like Where The Wild Things Are. Obscenely trippy.

Thursday
– Art takes the forefront during economic recessions. Case in point: Dept. of Eagles new music video for “No One Does It Like You”
– Alex Gladwell just wants you to listen. And we respect that.
– Space-pop duo Seeland offers new MP3
– Concert notables in NYC: The Damnwells and Gregory Alan Isakov
– Santigold/Santogold announces sweet North American tour

Friday
– Jamie reviews Royksopp’s latest effort: Junior
