It’s been a long time coming, folks, and damn are we excited. I speak for the entire KR crew here – Jamie actually found this video but I’m stealing his thunder and posting it to get all the credit! Sooo bad ass.
Only thing is, last time I saw a trailer with an Arcade Fire song (The Curious Case of Benjamin Button trailer), I hated the film… So let’s hope it’s no jinx, because they reserve their music for special occasions. And rightfully so. Ladies and gents, here is the trailer, released today, for Where The Wild Things Are (dir. Spike Jonze), with the movie officially set to come out October 16, 2009.

hahaha i discovered this two hours ago and have been flipping out over it ever since! fyi, Karen O and Carter Burwell are doing the music.
I am so excited for this film. I just heard that The Arcade Fire is doing the music for the next Richard Kelly film too. Lets hope they remain picky about what films they will do music for, otherwise if they get known for movies that suck, it will rub off on them as a band.
