With all the hoopla (yes, pun intended) surrounding SXSW, let’s not forget about that other March festival – the NCAA college basketball tourney. If you filled out a bracket, who’d you pick? I won’t give you my winner yet (edit 3/21: my winner = Pitt over Mizzou) in case you’re still making picks, but my final four is Louisville, Missouri, Pitt, and UNC. Missouri = slight shocker. What can I say, my friend Steve, who writes daily, well-informed pieces for celticsblog.com, is a big Mizzou fan and I can’t remember any time we’ve spoken about Missouri losing. That may just be Steve being devious and making his boys sound like the best team in the world, but whatever. The tourney’s too unpredictable anyway. I mean, I picked our Terps over Memphis for what it’s worth. (Laughable, I know. But I had Memphis losing to Missouri anyway so it didn’t really matter).
Anyway, to get you in the proper mood for the start of today’s games, and since Knox Road is like, a “music” blog, enjoy a little tuneage.
