I’m sure Yeah Yeah Yeahs had an awesome plan for releasing their latest album, It’s Blitz, but since it leaked that plan is over. The band condemned the early leaks on their blog, and moved up the release date to March 9. From the blog:
“YYYs have been brimming with nervous excitement in anticipation of releasing this record to the world! Leaks are NO FUN but it’s out of our hands.”
No fun indeed. At least they have these awesomely bizarre “ads” for the album. They probably shot a bunch and planned on releasing them one by one up until the release… Today I’m gonna be sad… Have an old YYY track to wipe your tears.
