Chicago’s Helicopters do this great synth, rock guitar, sweet vocals sound that is all but obvious on their single “Emergency” off last years full-length Sizing Up The Distance. The band apparently gained recognition after winning a battle of the bands competition that gave them a performance at the 2007 Lollapalooza festival. Cool. Go them.
