Since Lee has given in to The Man and gone to work, I’m posting this new Ivana XL on his behalf. And oh am I glad I get to. Because it’s a fun one. “Red Red Sun,” which again comes to us from Matt of You Aint No Picasso, is jangly and folky and hip in all the right ways. The sharp twang of the guitar contrasts her sweet voice in such a great way.
I’m totally convinced that she could write anything and it would turn out wonderful.
