Toronto’s electronic duo, Woodhands, released a cover of Eddy Grant’s “Electric Avenue” (aka one of my favorite songs ever). As a fan of the smash 80s sensation, I say it’s a good homage. The duo is releasing an EP of “remixes, restylings and reworkings” on March 3. Dancer EP will be out on Paper Bag Records. “Electric Avenue” and “Dancer” below.
